Arming and disarming your CK 236 alarm system: TO ARM THE SYSTEM: Enter your four digit PIN Code and press the # key. Example: 1234 # If you make a mistake while entering your PIN number, the keypad will beep five times. Make sure the red ARM light comes on. Vacate your premises within the required Exit time The exit delay time can be programmed from 10 seconds to 150 seconds. Once the exit delay time has expired, the keypad will beep twice to confirm that the system is armed. The keypad will beep slowly until 10 seconds before the delay time expires, then rapidly for the last 10 seconds. Then it will stop beeping. Your alarm system is now armed (ON). Any bypassed zones will now be isolated
TO DISARM THE SYSTEM: Enter only through a TIME DELAY area. The keypad will sound constantly until the alarm system is turned off. Enter your PIN CODE and press the # key. Example. 1234 # Make sure the red ARM light on the keypad goes off. Alarm is now OFF. If the ARM light does not go off and you hear the keypad beeping five times you have not entered the correct code. Enter your PIN code # again. The keypad will beep twice to confirm that the system has been properly disarmed. Ensure testing your CK system alarm regularly.
To reset your zone memory lights flashing press *1# whenever your CK panel has gone into Alarm.
The Service light on CK Keypad means Bell / Fuse Fault – The Service light Off is Normal State
Service Light Flashing Slow is Watch Dog Status – Service Light Flashing Fast is Fail to Communicate
Power Light on is Normal – Power Light off means loss of Mains Power
We can reset your CK 236i 238 – Sierra alarm code if you have lost it and even if the alarm has been programmed for factory lockout.
We do carry default IC chips for the complete c-k series . These default IC chips are obsolete and not many alarm companies have them.
This function permits you to bypass one or more zones while your system is DISARMED. Enter your PIN CODE if required (programmed in by the Installer). then press the * key, enter the digit “2”, enter the zone to be bypassed, then press # (example to isolate zone 6) *2 6 # . Bypassed zones will be indicated as the LED number 6 zone light will flash slowly. The procedures for adding a bypass and removing a bypass are the same

CK ALARM SOUND MEANING FOR THE KEYPAD – 2 beeps (confirmation tones) . system armed or disarmed . successful central station test or battery test pulsed tone (2 seconds on, 2 seconds off) . zone programmed for pulsed bell or siren is in alarm continuous tone zone programmed for steady bell or siren is in alarm circuit malfunction (trouble on supervised loops only) 5 beeps (error tones) invalid function unauthorized command attempted error changing PIN number wrong PIN number entered .. chirping (1 second on, 4 seconds off) . zone programmed for chirping bell or siren is in alarm zone faulted during walk-test 2 second beep . door chime continuous beeping, speeding up for last ten seconds . exit delay time continuous tone, beeping fast for last ten seconds in entry delay time
